Access Audit Reports

At Vista Design Architects, we are committed to provide design services for barrier free access to all public premises. Section 23 of the Disability Discrimination Act makes it unlawful to discriminate on the grounds of disability in providing access to or use of premises that the public can enter or use.

We have worked with individuals with disabilities for modifications to their homes. We have also worked with local Council to develop facilities required for accessible use. All our commercial / educational designs include details of accessible sanitary facilities, ramps, circulation spaces at entry doors, accessible car parking facilities and signages specified as an essential part of our services. Our designs are developed based on Australian Standards for design for access and mobility, the Building Code of Australia, Access to Premises Standard and the Disability Discrimination Act.
